SALMON

Salmon Fishing

Tri City Guide Service is your source for fabulous Columbia River Salmon fishing! Salmon are one of the most popular sportfish in the Pacific Northwest and for good reason, hard fighting and great tasting they make for a great prize from the net to the dinner table. Spring Chinook run April/May, Sockeye/Summer Chinook run June-August, Fall Chinook run September/October then late Coho salmon run late October/November. All runs are subject to yearly fluctuations and I only guide anglers to the dates and species with the best numbers, success rates and in the waters that I have fished for most of my life.

The most sought after salmon fishery every year is the fall Chinook run of the Hanford Reach which is home to upriver bright Kings that will make for the salmon fishing adventure that everyone is dreaming of. It is the last free flowing piece of the Columbia with breathtaking scenery and has a thriving population of large wild spawning fall Chinook. Considered the last great place to catch wild Chinook salmon in the west. Our season runs Sept 1st through October 15th with good fishing throughout those dates every year.

Captain Chris Benson has been chasing salmon in the Pacific Northwest the majority of his life with world class success and loves to share his passion for his favorite fish to eat with clients from all over the world. Come enjoy a day in a clean comfortable boat using high quality rods, reels, top quality bait/tackle and fish cleaned/bagged to your liking at days end.
